Buy-outs

Although the nature of buy-outs has changed over time they remain an important corporate finance solution in the mid-market.

Due to the inherent complexity of a buy-out transaction and the need to co-ordinate a very wide range of principal parties and advisers, the input of an experienced corporate finance adviser is fundamental to a buy-out's success.

We have a wide range of experience of advising each of the differing parties in a buy-out transaction, be it the management buy-out team itself, the private equity house that is providing the equity funding or the bank that is providing the debt finance. This broad experience enables us to understand the objectives and aspirations of each party in a buy-out transaction.

As part of our service provision, we assist our clients in preparing compelling business plans and in introducing them to the most appropriate sources of external funding. Our relationships with the leading private equity houses and providers of debt finance to buy-outs transactions have been developed over many years and, as a consequence, we know which funders will be most likely to finance which transactions.

Whilst complex to execute, buy-outs are hugely exciting transactions to be involved with both as principals and as advisers.

We would be delighted to share our experience with you in guiding you through the process.
